Recovery and Insolvency
At Robson Laidler LLP we have broad experience of corporate insolvency providing practical advice to a diverse spectrum of clients, ranging from small owner-managed businesses to multi-million pound corporate bodies.
The Business Recovery and Insolvency Division consist of 7 experienced staff members, specialising in both corporate and Personal Insolvency. The department is headed by Bill Paxton and Martin Daley, both Principals of the firm, and who are Licenced Insolvency Practitioners authorised by the Insolvency Practitioners Association.
The recent introduction of provisions contained within the Enterprise Act 2002 has radically changed corporate insolvency as we knew it. At Robson Laidler we are well equipped to deal with these changes and the challenges that no doubt lie ahead.
Our specialism is at both ends of the decline curve. If the company directors seek advice early enough we are able to assist in formulating business plans and provide advice to both the company and, if appropriate, other stakeholders in an attempt to avoid an insolvency.
Unfortunately, in the majority of cases directors recognise all too late that the company is in financial difficulties and usually this will result in the need for a formal insolvency procedure. At Robson Laidler LLP we are well equipped to deal with all types of insolvency procedure.
