Robson Laidler Wealth is moving forward with a senior financial planning promotion and a raft of new appointments as it continues to grow.


The financial planning firm has seen a 14% increase in turnover in its last financial year and is set to growth by a further 10% this year.


With more than 13 years’ experience in the financial sector, the firm’s compliance and operations manager Emma Purvis, 39 from South Shields has now made the move to a financial planner role having completed a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Emma Purvis said: “I am delighted to announce that I am making the leap from operations & compliance manager to financial planner. After almost 13 years of working ‘behind the scenes’ in compliance and paraplanning roles, I now have the knowledge, experience and professional qualification to confidently assist our clients in meeting their objectives.

“Not only are Robson Laidler Wealth passionate about helping clients to plan and achieve their financial goals, but are also passionate about helping staff to develop and achieve their own goals – and I’ve done just that.

“I’m looking forward to building some great relationships and I’m proud to be working with a team who put their clients at the core of their service.”


Robson Laidler Wealth has also appointed Lydia Sutton and Jennifer Gilroy as new administrators, who will work in supporting both advisers and clients, bringing the team’s total headcount to seven.
