Audit Junior – 2 positions

Our thriving audit and assurance department is looking for two ambitious and confident individuals to join as Audit Juniors. The role will involve exposure to company, charity and pension scheme accounting and offers the chance to climb a career ladder in accounting and finance.

  • To deliver Business Accelerator services to clients of Robson Laidler.

Advisory services include; regular business coaching, business planning strategies, client strategic project management, organisational reviews, cashflow forecasting, budget and research and development claims.

  • To market and promote the Business Advisory service externally to a range of stakeholders and prospects and generate new leads for the Firm.
  • To develop the Business Advisory Service line, evolving our offering to remain competitive and keeping this service line up to date.
  • Develop and contribute content to help implement the content marketing plan for the Advisory service and actively participate in the advisory service lines marketing plan.
  • To use the BA tools internally and develop and coach staff members on BA tools to maximise their work performance

Key Skills:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in providing business advice, (but not essential). Upon recruitment the candidate will undergo a comprehensive training and mentoring programme.
  • Comfortable in facilitating client sessions in both one on one and group scenarios.
  • Started ACA / ACCA equivalent with passes in business strategy and financial management.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be competent in using IT software including all of Microsoft and can learn others quickly.

Tax Compliance Junior

We are looking for someone who can offer an outstanding service delivery to clients in our tax compliance team. If successful, you will be trained on how to prepare and submit income tax returns and employer end of year expenses and benefits submissions. You will look after your own portfolio of clients to help them meet their statutory obligations whilst also ensuring they pay the correct amount of tax.
