How long have you been with Robson Laidler?
I joined in July 2019 so coming up to three years already!
What is your current role at Robson Laidler?
I am currently an Accounts Semi Senior within the Business Innovation Team.
What is your favourite thing about working for Robson Laidler?
I love having the ability to work closely with our clients, watching them grow and achieve their personal & professional goals from our advice and guidance.
What is your favourite film?
Gladiator
What is your favourite book?
Hard choice but it’ll be between – Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix or Black Box Thinking by Matthew Syed.
Who is your favourite music artist/group?
Another hard choice as my mood sways so frequently but my go to is often Meat Loaf.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Spending time with my wife and twin daughters, we try our best to get up to Scotland as frequently as we can with the aim to do all of the Scottish Islands by time we retire.
If you could have a superpower, what would you choose?
I’d have to have teleportation to take the commute out of my day.
What is something that nobody knows about you?
Prior to becoming an accountant, I had worked as an Educational Professional for eight years and I still privately tutor Mathematics now as I do miss education. I also make very good ramen.
And finally… Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself fully ACA qualified, working with our clients at Robson Laidler with the intention of being in an advisory capacity, helping our clients make their lives better.
